ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING - The annual meeting of the Pulaski County Humane Society was held on Thursday, April 10.  The major order of business was election of officers and Board of Directors members.  For the 2008-2009 year, the officers are as follows:  Mo Kretzschmer, President; Connie Rakestraw, Vice President; Deanna Spring, Secretary; Jack Ford, Treasurer.  Additional Board members include the following:  Marguerite Arnold, Cheryll Ford, Courtney Girdler, Ellie Grant, Bruce Jasper (DVM), Scott Sexton, Melody Simpson, Bonnie Stevenson, Samantha Stevenson and Robin VanNoy.

ADOPTION DAYS -  The next adoption day will be held at Somerset Mall on Saturday, April 26, 2008, from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m.  This will be an ideal opportunity to adopt an adorable dog, cat, puppy or kitten into your home!  

SPAY/NEUTER CLINIC - The next low-cost Spay/Neuter Clinic will take place on Thursday, May 8, 2008.    Appointments are required.  Call Ellie Grant  if you would like to make arrangements to have a pet spayed or neutered.  Her phone number is: 416-5437..
