| How you can help
First and foremost, you can help by becoming a member of the Humane Society. Everyone in Pulaski County is encouraged to become a member of the Humane Society, thereby demonstrating concern for the animals and support for the mission of the Society. In order to join, simply download a membership form, fill it out, and return it to the Humane Society office at 209 E. Mount Vernon Street Somerset, KY . The membership application will be available online soon. In the meantime, please contact us for an application. Membership dues are $20 annually, payable by the beginning of each membership year, which commences on April 1. There are no dues for full-time students or Senior citizens, age 65 or older. The Humane Society is always in need of support, both in the areas of funding and volunteer support. Monetary donations are tax-deductible, as the Society is organized as a 50c(c)(3) corporation. If you would like to make a donation, please send a check or money order, payable to the Somerset-Pulaski County Humane Society, to: Somerset-Pulaski County Humane Society Anyone desiring to volunteer time to work directly with the Society should call the Society office at: (606) 676-0112. A representative will then be able to provide details.
